Atlas Kasbah ecolodge is the first guest house based on sustainable development in the Argan Biosphere Reserve, a Unesco World Heritage. This eco-friendly accommodation is located in Agadir, in the South of Morocco, in the High Atlas Mountains and only 20 min. from Agadir beach !

Hassan and Helene, the owners, both hold a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development and have entirely designed this ecolodge from the sketch of the plan (end of 2006) to the building  itself while paying special attention to respect of the environment, heritage promotion and awareness and last but not least social development.

Officially opened in May 2009, this unique ecolodge has been supported by Agadir regional authorities and in July, Atlas Kasbah was granted the 2009 National Responsible Tourism Award by the Ministry of Tourism.
