Atlas Kasbah ecolodge is the first guest house based on sustainable development in the Argan Biosphere Reserve, a Unesco World Heritage. This eco-friendly Riad is located in Agadir, in the South of Morocco, in the High Atlas Mountains and only 20 min. from Agadir beach !

Hassan and Helene, the owners, both hold a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development and have entirely designed this ecolodge from the sketch of the plan (end of 2006) to the building  itself while paying special attention to respect of the environment, heritage promotion and awareness and last but not least community-based philosophy.

Officially opened in May 2009, this unique guest house has been supported by Agadir regional authorities and in July, this riad was granted the 2009 National Responsible Tourism Award by the Ministry of Tourism.
